MOTOR VEHICLE WORKSHOP

With sales and service centres located throughout all of Australia since 1963, Toyota has established itself as a leading automotive supplier.

Ken Mills Toyota has two dealerships located on the Sunshine Coast – one at Maroochydore and another in Nambour. The dealerships both sell and service a wide range of Toyota vehicles for clients all across the Sunshine Coast.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

• Take a 60yr damaged concrete slab and modernise to a professional workshop of one of the world’s leading auto manufacturers.
• Create a durable, practical and attractive finish.
• Minimise downtime for the client.

STRATEGY

• Work with dealership management to formulate a plan that allows servicing works to continue during installation.
• Work with a local painting contractor to ensure walls and ceilings are painted in conjunction with the installation of new flooring.
• Work with product suppliers to design a flooring system that will be non-slip yet able to be cleaned, durable and attractive.
• Match Toyota corporate colour scheme.

OUTCOME

• Workshop was able to operate and meet business targets whilst flooring works and painting was completed
• Heavy damaged and oil stained floors removed and replaced with attractive non-slip flooring with attractive colors and safety paths
• Hychem motortuff system installed to manufacturers requirements.
