PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:
- Create a seamless, durable and attractive warehouse floor finish for an innovative space technologies company.
- Use of a joint product in light grey to provide client seamless flooring.
- Grind & repair a heavily used warehouse floor with no existing coatings.
- Ensure the surface is both functional & good looking.
STRATEGY:
- Grind floor to create flat surface suitable for new epoxy coating
- Utilise a 3 coat UV stable system due to large UV sunlight exposure.
- Clean out & fill all joints
- Work with the client within the desired timeframe to ensure ready for move in date.
OUTCOME:
- Seamless flat floor with joints filled
- 2 coats of epoxy & 1 coat of tinted polyurethane applied to create UV stable system
- Good looking appearance that is easy to clean
- Delivered on budget & on time for the new owner to move in.
