No – we treat the existing concrete surface. We cannot control the colour or amount of stone in the concrete. The aggregate (stones) is added and mixed at the concrete suppliers batching plant. If certain aggregate exposure is required, it is best to consult us early in the design process so we can help choose the most suitable finish.

We patch and grout up any holes, cracks or imperfections in the concrete during the polishing process so that it all blends in nicely with the rest of the floor.  Please note that we unfortunately can’t control the movement of your concrete slab and as a result future cracks are a possibility depending on the movement in the ground your slab is laid on.

Yes – we can carry out an ‘Industrial Finish’ where we don’t expose the aggregate. There are several important requirements to ensure we can achieve this finish so it’s best to contact us for this advice prior to installing the actual concrete.

Yes. We can provide you with any desired finish you require, whether it be high gloss, semi-gloss or matte finish.

Yes.  We can remove any/all existing flooring, including any underlying adhesive or floor toppings or tiles for an additional cost.  It is important to note that the existing floor may impact the finish of the polished concrete but this is something that can only be established once the floors are up and the concrete slab is exposed.
